These fourteen pieces were recorded sometime in 2001 at AssembledSound, the studio in Chapel Hill, NC. They are a series of dialogues between Mahlon Hoard and Ian Davis. They have absolutely nothing to do with annihilation. One "naming strategy" I have found useful over the years is to think of some organizational category and then think of subjects or items that fit in some way within that category. These are musical dialogues and are thus nonverbal. They involve the moving of select items in a space or environment and the vibrations that result from those movements.
